Espiritu Santo National Park in the Sea of Cortez is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is one of the best marine life viewing destinations in the world. Swim safely and interact with the funny sea lions in the sea lion colony. Snorkel in the beautiful clear waters of the Sea of Cortes, that Jacques Costeau once described as the "aquarium of the world", with 31 species of marine mammals, 30 species of hard and soft corals, 500 species of fish and 4,848 known species of marine macro-invertebrates and 626 forms of macro-algae, 150 species of seabirds.
